From The Pastor's Desk
Dearly beloved,
Greetings to you all in our Lord’s Matchless name. I am extremely happy to write this verse from the
Scripture to encourage and also to challenge every one of you to shine before men.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father
who is in heaven” (Matthew.5:16).
There are two words in Greek for “Good”. One is “Agathos” which means that a thing as good in
quality; there is “Kalos” which means that a thing is not only good, but that is also Winsome and
beautiful and attractive. The good deeds of a Christian must be not only good; they must be also
attractive and winsome. It is further to be noted that our good deeds ought to draw attention, not to
ourselves, but to God.
May the good Lord help us to shine in this world through our good deeds and as a Church which can ultimately bring
glory and honor to our Creator and Protector of our lives.
