Humble beginnings :
Some years ago, a few Christian families started a worship service on Sundays in a house in Vashi. Then this worship continued in Fr. Agnel School, Vashi and St. Agustine School, Nerul. By the grace of God, we could procure a land at Nerul and the construction of the Church building happened in full swing.
Blessing in disguise :
On January 26th 2003, the Sunday Worship Service could not take place at St. Agustine School, Nerul as the school had their Republic Day function. So, we opted to go to the Church land at Nerul , amidst the rubbles and the mess, where the construction was going on. People sat by spreading newspapers and the first Church service took place at the present venue.

Dedication :
To the Glory of God, the Methodist Church Nerul was dedicated on May 1st 2005. THE EPWORTH METHODIST CHURCH was the name given by Bishop Agarwal to commemorate the birth place of the founder of Methodist Churches, Rev. John Wesley. The Tamil Service on every Sunday is from 8.30 A.M. to 9.45 A.M. Dawn service is conducted on the first of every month from 5.30 A.M. to 6.15 A.M.
Growth :
As the nodes in Navi Mumbai grew, we started having preaching centres at Kharghar and Kamote. The pastors and different memebers of the parent church at Nerul assist in the smooth functioning of these preaching centres.
