Isaiah 40:28-31 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Travelling and going places is something which I am passionate about. I get to see different places, cultures, climatic conditions and people in different regions. It is relaxing just wandering around appreciating Gods creation. Be it going around in a bicycle to crossing the Atlantic in aeroplanes, travelling and going places is fun for me. The best way of travelling in India is by train. We can experience different aspects from culture to food.
In a journey we have an originating station and a destination, and there are many who travel with us. There are interesting conversations we enjoy at times and sometimes we get irritated by the non-stop chatting around us. The train moves along and enroute some passengers who travelled along with us get down in their respective destinations and we wave good-bye and our journey continues .
Life is a journey. We all have started our journeys and enroute we have beautiful relationships, some good and some not so good. Relationships called family, friends, Church fellowship, social activities and our workplace, etc. are much needed in this journey of ours. Are we sure about our destination ? There are only two terminals. One is the heaven and the other is hell. One has a wider road and one narrow, Where are we heading? If only we are in the narrow and difficult track with Jesus, then we are in the right track. Our living God wants to have a relationship with us during this journey of ours and He wants to help us reach our destination safely .But there is a wider track with a lot of worldly comforts and enjoyments in front of us. Beware! Satan can lure us to the luxurious track which invariably leads us to eternal death. God wants to give us eternal life and that is why He sent us His only begotten son into this world so that our relationship with Him is renewed.
How is our relationship with Christ today? If there is anything between us and our Saviour He is more than willing to cleanse us and bring us back to the right track
Dear Lord, guide me on the right track to eternity. Amen.
